Wolf Custom we know the concerns you have about your firearms.
But you can be assured that we will do our best to put your concerns
at ease. We have years of experience in the trade. Our work has
been featured in several top magazines like Shot Gun News and
American Hand Gunner. We have performed work for some of the nations
top builders like Colt Manufacturing, Remington Arms, Browning,
Winchester, Magnum Research, and numerous custom builders. We
are confident that we can meet your needs.
The
process of refinishing a firearm varies depending on the type
of finish you are requesting. Generally the firearm is stripped,
sand or bead blasted, polished, plated, and then color buffed.
Hi-polish finishes require an additional buffing step. After the
firearm has been assembled (unless it was disassembled upon receipt),
it will be thoroughly inspected, and then packed. It will be shipped
back to you after payment arrangements have been made.
• We reserve the right to refuse any firearm.
• Pot metal and aluminum can only be anodized or matte chrome/nickel
plated.

All aluminum work performed is done by request only and is priced
by the item being finished.
• When monograms or letters are badly pitted, tell us to
leave as is or remove.
• All loose parts must be bagged and accompanied by a parts
list.
• All firearms must be accompanied by a detailed instruction
list of the finish being requested.
We offer a one-year warranty on our standard finishes. Examples
of standard finishes are blue, chrome, and nickel. We will not
under any circumstances warranty gold. Gold is a soft finish and
will wear easily.
If there is a particular finish that you are inquiring about and
that you do not see on our website, call us to ask if it is something
we provide. We do offer some specialty finishes that are not listed
on the site.
Turn around time on refinishing firearms is generally 4-6 weeks.
If the firearm is being nickel stripped you can add 3-4 weeks
to the turn around time. Nickel takes time to strip.
We have a minimum charge for any work performed and no exceptions
will be made.
We do not leave accounts or invoices on an open basis.
